This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Hehe... thread revival XD

Anyway, ATM I'm reading two books... not at the same time, mind. I'm reading Dexter is Delicious by Jeff Lindsay before I go to sleep, and during the day I'm reading All By My Selves by Jeff Dunham.

The Machine of Death. It's a collection of short stories concerning the titular machine.

Ah, I was halfway through this and somehow forgot about it...thanks for reminding me. ^^

I'm currently reading Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. I'm also about to start The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, but I want to finish HP first.

/stalks the thread for book ideas

I thought the first original 6/7 (cant remember which) where good but where they stared focusing on duel monster it went downhill.

Default Artemis Fowl/A Crack in the Sky

Ironically I'm 16, and I am just starting the Artemis Fowl Series. I am also reading 'A Crack in the Sky' By Mark Peter Hughes. A Crack in the Sky is about our future and how we survive in these domes while people outside of them are crazy monsters. I Think it's an alright book, but not the best I've read. *Cough* Nicolas Flamel Series *Cough*

Is that thread turning into a 'what I never would read' thread?
I only saw the movie of Golden Compass and it was enough. So worse, gosh.
And I'm so glad, that I never touched a twilight book or came close to a twilight movie. That's not my world. The only vampires I accept are Nosferatu, Dracula (Christoper Lee) and of course Alucard.

Well, the book is WAYYYY better than the movie. [ And usually, books are better than the movie counterpart. ]

^ Harry Potter isn't Twilight.
I've read them when they came out and I'm not ashamed of liking the books. Snape was too great to hate the series.
