Default I like reading the bad Yu-Gi-Oh fan fics for lulz

They're hilarious to read, and even better when it's the highly impossible romance fan fics. Those are my favorite crap ones to read.

Anyone else read bad fan fiction of Yu-Gi-Oh for nothing more than laughs?

I used to, but now they're all generic. There isn't any original bad, just people copying off of already written material.

I do this, too, sometimes, but then I get reeeeeally pissed off at the stupidity (and that all the reviews are "omg this is so greeeeeatttt!") and end up rant-flaming in the reviews... One girl Basketcat and I did that to actually deleted the story. Well, it's one less Mary-Sue-OC that both Ryou and Bakura fall in love with story floating around out there.

I agree that they get old, but a bad lemon is funny every blue moon. I only read the M rated ones because they make me laugh.

This isn't Yu-Gi-Oh, but I saw a really weird Yaoi pairing once. SeiferxIrvine. They're Final Fantasy 8 characters who never really talk much to eachother, and Irvine is a stereotypical pervert you see in most Japanese media. It was funny to read, and really stupid. Who could come up with such a pairing without thinking about the obvious. At least Puppyshipping can be made possible by making Seto's insults flirting.

^Nooooooo. No, Puppyshipping is bad, bad bad bad. Even the "good" puppyshipping that I've been shown, where I've been told "It's way better than other Puppyshipping!" still sucks horrendously.

Kaiba isn't a flirt. So, yeah, it still sucks.

It is still impossible, but you can twist what he says into flirting. Just pointing that out.

That's pretty twisted in itself, since whatever Kaiba says is literal. "I hate you" really means I HATE YOU. There's no point in reading between the lines with Kaiba since he never beats anything around the bush.

I know, once again. It's just, fandom make strange pairings. I've read RyouxDuke fan fiction once. Strange crack...

Puppyshipping is stupid. There's no way to make those two logically love each other, or even want to fuck one another without completely twisting their characters out of context. End. of. story.

Puppyshipping has no creativity.

Let me point out why: in every fandom there is someone like Joey and someone like Kaiba. Just stick said characters together and bam. Instant puppyshipping.

LAMEST. PAIRING. EVER.

You know, when you think about it, that is totally true. Every fandom has their polar opposite getting together when they clearly don't like one another.

Most of the stories I've read, the writer cannot really write or they cannot create the relationship without there already being some existing affection there (which there ISN'T, as you all have said). I look forward to finding a puppyshipping fanfiction that has the pairing make sense. Unfortunately, I don't believe it exists yet.

Even so, after all that, I still like puppyshipping. Ya'll can complain all you want, but it's interesting to see what people will come up with. I never was one to complain about pairings anyway - I read whatever the hell I want, whether it makes sense or not.

On that note, I also enjoy reading bad Yu-Gi-Oh fics for lulz. If they're bad, I applaud the author for making at least some part of my day hilarious.

I do this all the time. especially fanfics based of TAS. you cant make fun of something that is already a parody, srsly.

but I never flame. I just dont have it in me to be outright mean to someone unless they were already being mean to someone else.

The funny thing is, I'm usually the same way, I'm really anti-confrontational (IRL and online, to some extension), but some peoples' stuff is just SO bad that I can't help it. >_>

I've flamed once before, and I immediately felt incredibly guilty for doing it

But as a writer myself, I hate not getting a review, because not only do I think it's bad quality, but I don't know how to fix it.

I think constructive criticism is a great help, even if it stings just a little...

Of course, a little kick in the pants once in a while isn't always a bad thing either.

It wasn't an outright flame anyway, we were just saying everything~ we thought was bad about the story in a rather mean way (the reviews on the ranting thread), and the girl deserved them, I mean, come on, an OC as a main character who both Ryou and Bakura fall in love with? You expect me to just laugh and brush that off? :|

No. I don't. By the way, was it the same writer who reposted a story of the same like because of a bad review?

Then her awesome karate response! Oh that girl and it wasn't that much of a flame. It was more like "I'm being mean but there is also constructive criticism in here"

I don't like how the whole page is to the left, the spelling is terrible, there is no quotations when the character speaks and the lemon is terrible....

Kate began to touch Bakura the mean time Bakura started to take off his pants so he just hadde his boxer left. Then he took of Kate's panties now that her pussy was visible so was Kate really blusing then she ever have don.

One thing i hate in fan-fiction is when they put the lyrics of some song they like in the story. Making the character sing it, or just playing it as background music.

Same. This is why I like to play bad games, read bad written works, look at horrendous art, and look at badly designed things. They're hilarious. I enjoy them for the humor.
