HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK? =_= Last time I checked this was the YGOTAS forum, so...um...abridged fanart....is...okay?
You guys, I've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh since around 2003. I call all the characters by their Japanese names. My username is Shishu1025, as in, OCTOBER 25TH, KAIBA'S BIRTHDAY. I woke up early in the morning to watch the dubbed version in disgust, too lazy to find subbed versions. In fact, as you guys were shitting on me, I was watching an old bootleg DVD of Yu-Gi-Oh. You know, the ones that were translated into Chinese then, Japanese, and got the names wrong half the time? Yeah. First song I could sing in Japanese? Wild Drive. Where did I get pictures for reference for my drawing? Kokoro no Naka. What did I used to constantly get stuck in my head? The music that they play at interimg moments (dun dun..dunna na na dun na naaaa naaa)? My first thought when LK started using Kawaita Sakebi as the opening. "Holy shit, this guys actually knows his stuff. <333" My homepage, even though the site got taken down months ago? Seto-kaiba.com Deck type? Beatdown. Favorite Yu-Gi-Oh fanfic? For I Am Pharaoh. I could on, if you'd like....but...I think I've proven my point. I'm such a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh that I *gasp* have a favorite pairing, i.e., PUPPYSHIPPING. I didn't make up the term "Robopuppyshipping." Like I said, Martin was the one who said it, and I just ran with it. I was expecting some "this art is shitty" or perhaps "puppyshipping is gay and stupid," but an accusation of not being a "real" Yu-Gi-Oh fan? Wow.....and to think, I went through all that torment in school for liking a show I was never actually a fan of. Huh. And guess what? I know that Kaiba's real father died in a car crash, his mother died while giving birth to Mokuba, and their family spent all their trust funds, forcing them into an orphanage. kthnx. I still can't believe how fucking ridiculous all of you are. You assume SO FUCKING MUCH OF ME from one post. Hey, guess what? Maybe I was making an attempt to get back into a fandom I feel that I've fallen out of. Maybe I was hoping for a warm reception to this forum. Maybe, just maybe, I had heard that YGOTAS was the only real part of the fandom anymore, and perhaps the best way back into it.
It's a little bittersweet to know you guys are just as moronic, judgemental, and embittered as you always have been. I met some of my best friends through this fandom, but I guess I forgot how most of you guys are idiotic motherfuckers.

We were talking trash about how the fandom is mostly just YGOTAS fans now, it wasn't much of a direct attack. (And sugar_beets would like to inform everyone that she is, in fact, part of the gang, and I welcome her into it~... I think LittleKurioh made the YGOTAS because YGO was kind of dead. There wasn't many fans out there, and the really educated ones were scattered all over the place and they couldn't connect.
LK made YGOTAS to laugh and connect the old YGO fans, and made new friends and all that. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is...So what if someone likes puppyshipping or robopuppyshipping?! Seriously!! IT'S A FREAKING CARTOON. Geez...

Thanks to those of you possessing some common sense.
To the rest of you, sorry for not being completely literate in this forum of yours. It would seem as though I was severely misguided in thinking that the attitudes of members were be primarily positive, but alas, this is an anime forum, not a place for fans of The Abridged Series to discuss what they like. I'm really quite disappointed. If a moderator could lock this thread, it would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I could see your iritation with being treated like one of those fans, I've seen a few, too, and would hate to be compared to them. I've watched most of the anime (save for the filler arcs and whatnot), and I know most of the differences between anime and manga, though I haven't read much of the manga yet.
Everyone was just a bit more annoyed than usual and decided to /attack, like I said, there are a lot of people on this forum who do like YGOTAS, so don't be discouraged by our general distaste with it.

Granted, the season finale had a four-episode card game with Pegasus--but back to my original point, I would not be enjoying Yu-Gi-Oh as much as I do now, card game playing me and all, without the Abridged series. Whether or not this is a good thing is under debate...

I've been with the original Yu-Gi-Oh! since it started airing, and a friend of mine showed me TAS. That keeps me involved in both.
As far as movie-making from the books...eh. Sometimes they do it decently, but there's a couple the directors completely screw with canon because they want to (ie the sixth Harry Potter movie. WTF?).

I'm sorry you feel that way Shi, i really didn't think i attacked you at all. And i do not doubt your fandom in Yugioh at all, you need not to show proof since we all are here because we are fans of the series. It's just some people are tired of others changing the characters into something far beyond what they believe in, so they say what they like, call it 'freedom of speech'. Please don't think that this one bad experience on the forum is how the rest of the forum is. And if you like you can talk to me about Yugioh, i would be pleased to enjoy it with you.
I had nothing to say about the robopuppyshipping, though i do think it's pretty funny since one poster thought this thread was about Noah's robot dog. Btw am i in a gang? I Hope not T__T;
