Episode 4: The kids from Lord of the Flies don't get there by boat, they are rescued by boat. They get there when their plane crashes and it is implied due to gunfire in WW2

If it counts, in episode 26 at around 00:10, Kaiba's lines are similar to those of infomercials. "And that's not all!" xD |

Marik says "Excellent my mind slave, excellent! Ah ha ha! Ah ha ha ha ha!" His laugh is exactly like Mandark's from Dexter's Laboratory |

The music from the zombie fight scene in the movie is from a similar fight scene in The Matrix... 2 or 3?

how about in Episode 2 when Yami says "You can see into my mind?" in the exact same way that Solid Snake says it in Egoraptor's Metal Gear Awesome.
Another reference to Metal Gear Awesome is in Episode 35 when Tristan tells Joey that Serenity is "still hot A**hole" Solid Snake says a similar thing in Metal Gear Awesome in reference to the Colonel's daughter Meril |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm right the part in Ep. 27 where it explains the missing scene about Tristan punching Joey, the music sounds like the daytime town music in Dragon Quest VIII.

Okay, here's my contribution:
The music playing when it shows the screen saying "Somewhere in Egypt" (i.e. beginning of both episodes of Marik's Evil Council of Doom and near the end of the 2008 Christmas Special), the song is "Serhr Oyounik (The Magic in Your Eyes)" by Hossam Ramzy. Great list! =) |

Major update! Episode 33-37 added. As always please check for missing information you might know :) Pending to be added are the Christmas Special 2008 and Abridged 101 as per Rydonmower's request.
Once again I'm happy more people found this list useful (@fordgt555, I had no idea they were that many either!) and would like to thank the following for their contributions : berober04 (thanks for the corrections too!) Sakina superplough Rydonmower (It's Matrix Reloaded :) ) Darth_Proged quandary (FINALLY, the meaning behind "DMX" that has been puzzling me for so long!!) Zhortac Roae Keep the contributions coming folks, and when giving credit remember to give most of it to DannyLilithborne! |

I was right, the music played at 5:30 in episode 27 is called Peaceful Town from Dragon Quest VIII.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC_Tkxb7FpY That is three tracks from DQ8, but the first one is Peaceful Town. I played it then the part of episode 27, to make sure I was right. |

I have watched and rewatched these episodes on my iPhone enough times that I?ve lost count.
I just wanted to toss my hat into the ring and help fill out the already robust references list. A few are some corrections and a few are just additional references that were missing from the list. Episode 15 * (04:16) Tristan?s line of Star Trek quotes is probably more along the lines of how people will say Trek when talking about Wars and visa versa. Tristan being the moron character makes it more likely that LK is poking fun at people who get the two franchises mixed up. Episode 21 * (7:!7) More accurately Fable is an Xbox action RPG game that eventually got ported to PC and Mac consoles. Episode 26 *( 02:49) The training robot in question is named GLaDOS. Episode 27 * (3:!6) Yes indeed Joey?s mother?s voice is an exact match for Dr. Girlfriend?s voice Episode 35 *The title is a parody of a Tale of Two Cities. A popular and old book about a prince and a peasant who happen to look exactly a like and trade places at times. * Yugi?s opening line is a parody of the famous line from the same book, ?It was the best of times it was the worst of times.? * 3rd Card is ?Buddy Christ? from the Kevin Smith movie ?Dogma? It was supposed to be a redesign of the symbol of the Catholic church to have a happier image than a crucifix. You can actually buy small versions of these online. * (1:34) Pegasus? line ?I?m in your ....? is a nod to a very common trend of LOLcats expressions. One of the earliest LOLcats had the caption ?im in ur base, killing ur d00ds? Which depending on who you ask is the very first LOLcat ever. *(01:38) Jar-Jar Binks is widely thought to be the very worst character ever made for the Star Wars universe. He is basically a comic relief character but unlike Tristan he is not ever funny. *(01:49) ?Exodia go down the hole? is a Parody of the line ?Water go down the hole.? Spoken by Baby Plucky is a short from the animated show Tiny Toons. In the episode it shows an infant Plucky learning that he can flush things down the toilet. He repeats the line many times in the episode flushing numerous items. * (02:19) ?I?m the goddamn Kaibaman? is actually a quote from a current comic book series written by Frank Millar called All-Star Batman and Robin. In it he has a very mean spirited Batman who says things like ?Im the goddamn Batman.? This version of Batman is not very popular with fans thus the need to poke fun at it. * (02:52) This is a parody of the infamous Jar-Jar Bink?s line best known from the Episode 1 trailer. This exact line was also parodied in South Park?s Movie Bigger Longer and Uncut. * (04:04) seems obvious but it is worth noting that this is a reference to how when videogames come out on the Wii they are usually at a much lower quality than those of the PS3 of Xbox360. Usually even worse than the Wii itself is able to handle. They are laughably bad sometime. *(04:12) ?So beautiful ... they should have sent a poet) is the exact line from the movie Contact. *(4:40) ?I don?t want to be an American idiot.? Is a line from the song (gasp) American Idiot by Green Day. * (06:24) ... which itself is a parody of ?We didn?t start the fire? Episode 36 * The title is a parody of "The Man Who Would Be King" (1888) a short story by Rudyard Kipling. * Drinking games are basically when you take a shot of your ?alcoholic? beverage of choice whenever a certain phrase or person shows up in a show. There are thousands of them out there for a majority of the tv shows that exist. *(01:49) ?Bullwinkle voice? The character of Bullwinkle from Rocky and Bullwinkle is a cartoon moose who is indeed how Tristan sounds. It seems that even though Tristan started as a parody of Barney he quickly became more of a Bullwinkle parody. * (04:14) ?didn?t you see the red light?? and ?Because I?m surrounded by hoes? is a subtle nod to the Red Light districts in some countries that are places one can go to find prostitutes and strippers. *(4:54) Care Bears was a very cheesy and overly cheery animated show from the 80?s. *(07:04) seems obvious but... Joey?s yell as he swings on the chain is the common yell of Tarzan as he swings on vines. Only instead of ah the syllables have been replaced with joey?s infamous ?nyeh?. Episode 37: * The five cards that scroll across the screen spell D-E-A-T-H. *(2:49) That woman from the 2007 Transformers movie. They are talking about Megan Fox who did indeed have an over the top fake tan. But she?s so hot that nobody seems to mind. *(2:51) Shia LaBeouf is the main (male) star of the same Transformers movie. Cr@psule Monsters 1: *(04:49): ?I?ll be your friend? is a parody of the Persuasive Detective from the Simpsons episode ?Cape Feare? He says the line in an attempt to get Sideshow Bob to leave town. Making him one of the most memorable of the very minorist of all Simpsons characters. Cr@psule Monsters 2 * (00:43) They shout Army of Darkness because that is how the main character falls from the sky in Army of Darkness. |

Episode 36, the drinking game is most likely from yu-jyo.net, a popular and very reliable Yugioh sub/dub comparison website. If LK's a big a Yu-Gi-Oh fan as he would have to be to parody the whole series, he would be very familiar with this website. http://www.yu-jyo.net/002/056.html "Yu-Gi-Oh! dub drinking game! Take a drink whenever Yami or Yugi says "The fate of the world depends on it!" or "It's our destiny!" You won't stay sober for long...." |

who is on the 1st card which slides on the begining?
2nd one is Portal Cake (Obviously a lie xD) 3rd ...Devo? 4th this guy was showed in 28th episode I think,Wang? 5th Parappa the Rapper 1:33 - Craddle robber or craddle snatcher - a term for a woman who's quite older than usualy teenage or young adult love interest/partner 2:39 - Naruto april joke refference 4:24 - well you can't get that in other countries than UK or US :< but no one would buy such stuff in poland f.eg if it was named more than 2 words like 'Not Butter'[Niemasło] would be funny but 'Nie uwierze w to że to nie jest masło' sounds akward. But I find it hillarous that such stuff exist xD 5:47 - Samurai Depper Kyo behind scenes [voiced by Dan Green] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDyLcacextg 6:08 - Bale's rant on the set of Terminator:Salvation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLXVuy0h29c but the most hillarous thing is that he actualy voiced Howl in Howl's Moving Castle xDDDDDD |

From right to left: Tom Servo (voiced by Josh Weinstein, then Kevin Murphy),Joel Robinson (played by Joel Hodgson), and Crow T. Robot (voiced by Trace Beaulieu, then Bill Corbett). All of these characters are from Mystery Science Theatre 3000.
No, not Devo. Definitely not Devo. Devo is a rock group. It's the character John Zhang, from Lefty Films' machima video "Eden: The Zhang Chronicles". Kroze and LK played parts in it. Last edited by Seraphim; 04-26-2009 at 12:06 PM. |

0:34 secs. - This part is a reference to Troy McClure, a character of the Simpsons who, when he introduces himself, lists some of the works he has been in.
0:42 secs. - This film is a reference to the mini-series of homestarrunner.com called Teen Girl Squad, specifically issue #10. Here is the video. Skip to 2:59. |
