This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

It's probably because his portrayal of the Master wasn't as serious as those who did it in the past. Derek Jacobi (the guy who changes into John Simm's Master) was more like how they used to be.

I love Doctor Who. I didn't actully realise it had American fans, it's good to know. ^.^
I didn't like the finalie of this series with Martha. The Master was awsome (and he totally pwned the President :D) but the episode he was in sortta sucked. I haven't seen Torchwood, but I want to simply because of Captain Jack, he's awsome.
Christopher Eccleston > David Tennant.
Billy Piper > Freema Agyeman > Catherine Tate.

David Tennant makes the show OH-SO worthwhile now... Martha just wasn't as likeable as Rose, but David Tennant is ALWAYS sexy. I've loved him since I saw the BBC's 3-episode version of Casanova. Oh my.

*blush*

I like it. But topics like this make me hate the fact that I live In America! and have to be spoiled about it all the time. I mean, I've managed to avoid being spoiled about the actual plots of the episodes in season 3 but I already know who the major villain is this season...

I also regret the fact that I live In America! because I've seen so few episodes of Doctor Who. I had a blast watching it, and I really wish that it was more accessible around here. [s]I mean, really, some of these networks wouldn't know a quality television show if it sneaked into their bedroom in the middle of the night wearing nothing but strips of bacon and a bow tie and tap-danced upon their trophy wife. Grumble mumble...[/s]

BBC doesn't licence the old epidoeds out anymore. Your choices are youtube or track down the DVDs online. I wish to god it was a bit more mainstream In America! God I'd love to be able to walk into a story and get some of they toys. Watching on Youtube is how I've seen Who and those posters are didicated to keeping the old stories up dipite a banning.

I thought episode 12 was the most hilarious Doctor Who episode ever. [ John Simm was a great Master. Shame they killed him off. ]

I saw some Doctor Who toys at the mall recently. They had a Dalek, a sonic screwdriver, and I believe a Rose action figure...

I've got a sonic. I picked it up at I-Con(long Island) in the spring along with the sound track.

I have to say that what impresses me the most about this show is how they can take really stupid looking enemies and still somehow make them compelling by focusing on their character.

Doctor Who rocks. Torchwood is okay, but I mainly watch for Captain Jack. John Barrowman could make a show about paint drying interesting.

As for Simm's portrayal of the Master, he tried to do it as an evil Tennant.

Barrowman's hotness is powerfull. I spent two satrdays listining to a radio program that played showtunes cause he was hosting it. Who does Kroze work for and how soon can we read the interview?
Daleks in Manhattan I have to say that some of the acsents were a bit to thick.

Im sorry guys, but kroze is trying to banned me from this thread seeing as how we are at war so I want to get this in. Christopher Eccelston was my first Doctor ever..and he will always hold a spot in my heart. But, David Tennant is the doctor in my mind. He's just eccentric like that. Anyway, News! from outpost Gallifrey

spoilers
though nothing is confirmed. But it would be awesome to see in season 4

this part is for Kroze (again sorry for if anyone finds this annoying [ ROSE FOR THE WIN! ]
